Your value proposition in 20 min
From knowing you are not your title, to getting all the way down to the root of your joy, we now get to the good stuff in the middle.
First, we let go of our narrow identity. Then we went all the way to the root of what brings us joy.
Now, we get to the meat.
For some of us, the guttural answer to the questions on the wheel below may be “I don’t know”, or “I’m not influential at all”, or “I don’t know many people”.
Before doing this week’s exercise, give yourself one (yes, one) moment to let all the self-doubt say what it has to say. Then promptly tell it, “Your job is done here. Bye-bye”.
We are in a historical crisis of epic proportions. Self-doubt is quite literally a waste of your precious time.
Refresher
We have been conditioned to believe that our ability to complete tasks, to be busy (with what, who knows?), and to fulfill a narrow job description is the basis of our entire existence and, therefore, our value.
Please don’t be hard on yourself for enduring this long.
Be proud of your renewed willingness to decondition yourself now. You may have even reached a level of financial comfort where the idea of disrupting that is highly uncomfortable (hence the self-doubt).
Taking 10-20 minutes out of your day to step outside of your normal revenue-driving routine is a significant investment.
The Invitation
With a pen and paper ready, set a timer for 10 minutes (ideally 20 minutes if you can) to answer the following questions in free form.
If you finish before 10 minutes, keep writing.
If you go past 20 minutes, I invite you to continue until you can no longer do so.

What degrees and certifications have I earned?
What brands and/or reputable companies have I worked for?
What industries have I worked in? What roles have I held?
